Frequency inverter for vibratory conveyors

The REOVIB MFS series for vibratory conveyor drives creates a drive voltage and frequency for the vibratory conveyor that is independent of the frequency and level of the mains voltage connected.

Any desired drive frequencies for the vibratory conveyor that are within the device frequency ranges may be set.
The devices function using digital technology and are operated via an LED or an LCD display and buttons. All settings can be carried out from outside, without the housing having to be opened up.


Using technology that has been patented by REO, it is possible, using an appropriate acceleration sensor, to carry out an automatic search and tracking of the resonance frequency of the vibratory conveyor system using the frequency inverters of the REOVIB MFS 168 and REOVIB MFS 268 series. Therefore, the time-consuming mechanical setting of the vibration frequencies can be omitted.

    The REOVIB MFS 368 series of frequency inverters offer the possibility of operating the vibratory feeder at an optimum vibratory frequency for the material to be processed - with a wide input voltage range from 110V to 230V and completely independent of the frequency of the supplying electrical
    network. In addition, it is possible to automatically determine the resonant frequency of the oscillation system and to control the oscillation amplitude to constant values using the method patented by REO.



    Furthermore, various sensor and valve logic connections can be programmed. The devices can optionally be equipped with fieldbus interfaces and are (also  optionally) available as UL/CSA certified versions.



    The devices of the REOVIB MFS 368 series are available with a max. output current of 3A, 6A, 8A as IP20 version for switch cabinet installation as well as IP54 enclosure version.

    REOVIB MFS 268-LCD are fitted with an LCD display. The full-text display in various languages makes programming and adjustment easy and intuitive. Important status indications and settings can easily be input and retrieved.

    Frequency converters in the REOVIB MFS 268 series for vibratory conveyor technology offer the option of operating the vibratory conveyor at an optimal vibration frequency for the material - completely independently of the frequency of the electrical mains supply. 

    It is moreover possible, thanks to the system patented by REO, to determine the resonant frequency of the vibratory system automatically and to regulate the vibration amplitude to constant values.  In addition, various sensor and valve logic links can be programmed.  Devices can optionally be equipped with field bus interfaces, and are also available as versions with UL/CSA certification.

    The CNW 9022 is designed to accommodate minimal spatial requirements, includes integrated surge protection.


    CNW 9022 line reactor with integrated surge protection smooths current peaks in controller input power, helping to maintain consistent product movement and extend equipment life. This filter has been specifically developed for use with vibratory feeder controllers to reduce stress on internal components and the power supply feeding the controller.

    REOVIB MFS 268 HP


    High-power version of the REOVIB MFS 268 frequency-control device, can be used for mains voltages of 400 V with max. 8 or 16A output current and for mains voltages of 230 V with max. 32A output current and is available as IP20 versions for installation in control cabinets.


    We are also delighted to offer you a suitable control cabinet system with client specific requirements. Special designs of the REOVIB MFS 268 HP can also be implemented if required.
